Christiano Ronaldo pleads guilty to tax fraud, accepts fine

Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo received a fine of approximately 19 million euros after pleading guilty in a tax dodge case in which he was found guilty by the Spanish authorities.

As per the latest sports news, The 33-year-old made a deal with the telling prosecutor and the related tax authorities to ward off a prison sentence of 23 months.

As per to the Spanish rule, a sentence of two years or less than that do not carry jail term and can be handled on probation.

Christiano Ronaldo was complained of deliberately evading the tax of 12.1 million pounds on earnings he had generated out of his image rights between 2011 and 2014.
