George Santos a New York Republican congress lied recently exposed 6 weeks after he was elected as a member of the House of Representatives.

In a recent post in the New York Times, his fraud and lies were exposed and the truth is completely different from the magnetizing resume he showed in his biography on the National Republican Congressional Committee website.

It was just a part of Santos’s campaign to drive more votes for his election as a congress member.

George Santos told a blatant lie during his campaign. He lied about his education, employment history, ancestry, property ownership, debt, and charity work.

After this disclosure, he appeared in front of the media and agreed that he lied about his education and work history.

In one of the several interviews he gave on Monday he said “My sins here are embellishing my résumé.”

Santos lied during the campaign to elect as the house of representative raising a question about congress members’ background realities and truthfulness.

Republican George Santos a newly elected New York Congress member lied about everything in his congressional biography.

He lied about his education that he is graduated from Baruch College in 2010 and attended New York University to earned a degree in economics and finance.

In Monday’s interview, George Santos admitted that “I didn’t graduate from any institution of higher learning. I’m embarrassed and sorry for having embellished my résumé, We do stupid things in life.”

Santos lied about his work history that he joined Citigroup as an associate and was promoted to associate asset manager. He also worked with Goldman Sachs.

He told in his recent interview that he never worked with these two Wall Street firms, but connected with both firms through his work at another investor company LinkBridge.

He confirmed in an interview with WABC radio that he worked at a call center in Queens in late 2011 and early 2012.

George Santos owing 13 properties is also one of the misinformation given by him. The truth is he is owing thousands to landlords and creditors.

Mr. Santos confirmed that he did use lies on his resume but never committed any crime anywhere in the world.

But New York Post investigation revealed in Brazilian court records as a young boy, he was charged with fraud for writing checks with a stolen checkbook.

He clarifies this in an interview that “I am not a criminal here — not here or in Brazil or any jurisdiction in the world, “Absolutely not. That didn’t happen.”

He was also misinformed about his Jewish ancestry. He told that his maternal grandparents were born in Europe and emigrated to Brazil during Holocaust.

But the actual truth is he is catholic and his grandmother converted from Jew to Catholic.\

What  Charges George Santos Will Probably Face for Providing Misinformation

Legal experts suggest that the house can only prevent members from taking office if they provide misinformation regarding the constitution’s age, citizenship, and state residency requirements. But most probably he will face ethics investigations.

But he also provides misinformation regarding his finances in congressional financial disclosure, which is considered a federal crime.

Democrats including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the next House Democratic minority leader Hakeem Jeffries suggested Mr. Sanots is unfit to serve in Congress.

But top Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy remains silent.

The reason behind their silence is that they narrowly win the majority in the House of Representatives and removing Goerge Santos from the congress member position is a loss for them.
