Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone Redmi 14R in its domestic market. The company has brought it as a successor to the Redmi 13R. Many features in it are similar to the old model, while many new things have been added to it.
Redmi 14R 5G Specifications
- The phone has a 6.88-inch display, which supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1640 x 720 pixel resolution. It works with a peak brightness of 600 nits.
- The smartphone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset for performance. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
- The all-new Redmi 14R 5G has a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP camera for selfies.
- The phone draws power from a 5,160mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The phone runs on Hyper OS based Android 14. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM and side mounted fingerprint sensor.
What’s new in Redmi 14R 5G
The Redmi 14R 5G brings several upgrades over the Redmi 13R 5G. It offers a larger display than the 6.74-inch 90Hz display on the 13R 5G. The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ in the previous model has been replaced with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. Apart from this, the new phone battery has also been upgraded.
Redmi 14R 5G Price and Color
The latest budget smartphone has been brought in four variants 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Its starting price is CNY 1,099 (about Rs 13,000). The phone comes in Olive Green, Shadow Black, Lavender and Deep Sea Blue colours.
