Ratan N Tata, Chairman of Tata trusts, had announced to give a donation of Rs 500 crore on Saturday to combat the deadly Coronavirus. As he announced this large amount, he became the top trend on social networking sites, especially on twitter.

Covid 19 is one of the dangerous and hardest challenges that our planet has faced. So, in this tough situation, the 82-year-old world-famous businessman, who is famous for its kind heart and donations, give the donation note from his organization. He stated that “Tata Trusts and Tata group companies have in the past rise to the needs of the nation. At this moment, the need of the hour is greater than any other time.”

In Indian history, this amount is the most significant donation made by Indians.

The amount of donation would be used for respiratory systems for curing breathing problems, Covid protective equipment, testing covid kits, modular treatment facilities, and so on.

Apart from donation, the Tata Group has announced to give full salaries to their daily wage earners and temporary workers for March and April just some days after the Coronavirus news in the country. The company said they would also pay its workers even if they fail to report for work due to precautionary measures.
