Ram Navami 2024, the ninth or last day of Navratri, will be extra special this year as the Ayodhya Ram temple was inaugurated in January and devotees caught a glimpse of Ram Lalla. A grand celebration will be celebrated in the Ram temple after receiving 1,11,111 kg of laddus as Prasad.

Devraha Hans Baba Trust will send 1,11,111 kg laddus to Ram temple in Ayodhya on the occasion of Ram Navami 2024 on April 17. The Trust had also sent 40,000 kg of laddus for Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha on January 22.

Devraha Hans Baba Trust trustee Atul Kumar Saxena said there is a tradition of sending laddus to various temples, including Tirupati Balaji temple and Kashi Vishwanath temple.

Speaking about the first Ramnavmi of Ramlala, Acharya Satyendra Das, chief priest of Ram Janmabhoomi temple, said that all preparations have been made by the temple trust.

“The trust is also managing the decorations. Ram Navami will be celebrated with great enthusiasm. This time it is special as the ceremony is taking place after the ‘Pranapratishtha’ ceremony”

An official said that the time for devotees visiting Ayodhya Ram temple has been extended till 11 pm on Ram Navami, April 17. In an official statement, Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, said that the consecration will be done after Mangala Aarti. Shringar and Darshan will start together from 3:30 am in Brahma Muhurta.

“Shringaar Aarti will take place at 5:00 am, darshan of Shri Ramlala and all puja rituals will continue together as usual. From time to time, a curtain will be drawn for a while to offer food to the Lord. The sequence of darshan will continue till 11:00 pm as before, after which Bhog and Shayan Aarti will be performed as per the situation.

The pilgrimage are also informed that Prasad will be available at the exit gate of the temple after Shayan Aarti on Ram Navami, hence, visitors should keep their mobile phones, shoes, slippers, big bags and prohibited items, etc. safely away from the temple.

It was told that on April 16, 17, 18 and 19, Sugam Darshan Pass, VIP Darshan Pass, Mangala Aarti Pass, Shringaar Aarti Pass and Shayan Aarti Pass will not be made.
