Oppo Reno 14 New Edition Launched with Color-Changing Back Panel

Oppo has launched a new Sun and Moonlight color variant of the Oppo Reno 14 smartphone. This variant of Oppo will go on sale in China from July 11. The company says that in this smartphone, they have given a special temperature-sensitive back panel, which changes color according to the surrounding temperature.

Pre-orders for this phone have started. Talking about the price, the Sun and Moonlight color edition of the Oppo Reno 14 has been launched for 2699 yuan (about 32 thousand rupees).

Oppo Reno 14: Sun and Moonlight Edition

The Sun and Moonlight Edition smartphone of Oppo Reno 14 has a heat reactive back panel, which changes from Moonlight Silver color to Sunlight Orange color according to the surrounding temperature. This device offers vibrant orange color at a temperature of minus 15 degrees Celsius. At the same time, when the temperature reaches 70 degrees Celsius, the color of its back panel becomes silver.

Oppo says that both colors are visible in the back of the phone during the transition, giving it a visually dynamic look. Earlier, electrochromic design was used for color changing back. In this phone, this process is automatic, which changes the color by directly reacting to the environment.

The Sun and Moonlight color variants of OppoReno 14 come for sale in four options. Their prices are given below.

• 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: 2,699 yuan (approx. Rs.)
• 16GB RAM + 256GB storage: 2,999 yuan (approx. Rs.)
• 12GB RAM + 512GB storage: 2,999 yuan (approx. Rs.)
• 16GB RAM + 512GB storage: 3,299 yuan (approx. Rs.)

The company has not yet shared any information about whether this color variant will be launched in the global variant or not.

The Oppo Reno 14 smartphone has a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. This phone comes with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. This phone has a 6.59-inch flat narrow-bezel display. This Oppo phone supports 80W fast charging with a 6000mAh battery. This phone comes with IP66/68/69 rating.

Talking about photography, this phone has a triple rear camera setup. Its primary camera is 50 megapixels, with which a 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens has been given. This camera lens supports 3.5X zoom. Along with this, the phone has an 8-megapixel ultra wide sensor. This Oppo phone runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
