New Delhi: The popular cab service, Ola is now with the government to fight against coronavirus. Recently, it has announced that it will share the technology platform and capabilities with the government.
It will do it through the Ola CONNECTS initiative. This initiative will be to help the government to control the war rooms in real-time for fighting against coronavirus.
Moreover, it will maintain the security levels of world-class and 100 percent data privacy. The Ola CONNECTS has navigation capabilities, tracking of vehicles in real-time for 24×7.

Furthermore, it has functions such as an alert system that will work in real-time. Also, its crowd and flow management system will help in controlling the crowd in real-time. Such technologies will help the government in effectively managing the social distancing norms.
It also has an AI-enabled authentication system that can help authorities to keep a check on all the preventive measures followed by the people.

Ola is collaborating with the government of Punjab where it will use the platform to manage vehicles on road. It includes the management of 17 lakh farmer’s produce. The monitoring of the vehicles to the mandis will be easy through this throughout the state. Also, it will ensure that social distancing norms are also followed by the people.
It is one of the great initiatives and supports to the government.
