WhatsApp has been working vigorously on its new updates over the past few months which will help to ease users’ work and improve the app experience.
In its recent app update, WhatsApp has introduced new features such as picture-in-picture mode for iOS, forward media with captions, message yourself, and many more for iOS, Android as well as web users.
However, after all these developers are now involved in working on more features and updates for the future. One of those features which are about to come is the ability to edit the sent messages.

Wabetainfo, a site that keeps an eye over all the new developments of WhatsApp, discloses that developers are putting their worth into a new update that will help the users to edit messages.
The report further stated that the message can be edited within 15 minutes of the time frame after sending it. This feature will permit users to edit any mistake in a statement as well as add more information to it.
Although the app permits users to delete the message for everyone, the new feature then will be easier if someone doesn’t want to delete the whole message and just wants to edit some of the words.

In addition to this, the feature will only back the newest WhatsApp version and will only permit editing messages and not the media captions. At this point of time, this feature for iOS is under development but is anticipated to be released soon.
At the same time, WhatsApp is also experimenting with a new feature for iOS users which will help the users to change image quality on iOS devices. The feature is at the stage of beta testing and will be launched shortly.

After the feature is launched, users will witness a new photo quality option in the WhatsApp chat settings. Also, users will be able to share photos of their original quality.
