Kawasaki India has launched the 2025 model of its sports bike Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX in India. The company has introduced this sports tourer bike with updated powertrain and new features. It includes features like three-level traction control and cruise control.
Its starting price is Rs 13,49,000 (ex-showroom). It has been launched in place of the Ninja 1000SX which was discontinued in March 2024, which was priced at Rs 12.19 lakh. Bookings for the bike have already started and deliveries may begin by the end of this month.
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Upgrade
Kawasaki says that the gear ratios have been optimised to improve overall power delivery and fuel economy. Additionally, the bi-directional quickshifter has been updated to allow gear shifts at slower speeds. Other changes include a new handlebar-mounted USB Type-C outlet and voice commands with smartphone connectivity.
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Engine
The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX is powered by a 1,099 cc, liquid-cooled, inline-4 engine that produces 136 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and slip-and-assist clutch. It also has 5th and 6th gears, which the rider can use during highway riding. This will give them a better riding experience
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Features
The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX features a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity via the Rideology app. The console also features 2 display modes. It comes with an updated bi-directional quickshifter, which will enhance low-end performance as well as give better mileage.
It also has three-level traction control, full and low power modes, electronic cruise control and four ride modes – Sport, Road, Rain or Rider. It also has a Type C charging port.
It has a twin-tube aluminium frame. It has 41mm inverted forks with compression and rebound damping and preload adjustability and a gas-charged monoshock with rebound damping and preload adjustability.
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Breaking
The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX features almost identical bodywork, while the chassis remains the same. Upgrades include a larger rear disc brake, while the front gets Brembo Monoblock 4.32 calipers. Suspension duties are handled by adjustable 41mm USD Showa front forks and Ohlins S36 adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels with new Bridgestone Battlax S23 tyres.
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Price
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 13,49,000. In India, it will compete with Ducati SuperSport 950, Suzuki Katana and BMW F900 XR. This motorcycle also comes in the same price range.
