Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched the Hyundai Venue S(O) Plus variant equipped with electric sunroof. It is priced at Rs 9,99,900 (ex-showroom). The variant list of Hyundai Venue has been updated with a new mid-spec S(O) Plus variant, which has a sunroof. Its price is only Rs 12,000 more than the previous variant. It has auto-LED headlights, LED DRL at the front and LED tail light with connecting bar design. Along with this, features like 15-inch steel wheels and body-color outside rearview mirror (ORVM) have been given in it.

The Venue S(O) Plus variant is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated engine only, which generates 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of peak torque. Its engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Apart from this, some variants are being offered with the option of a 1-litre turbo-petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo-petrol unit comes with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the diesel variant is available with a 6-speed MT.

How is the interior of Hyundai Venue S(O) Plus?

Talking about its interior, it has an off-white and black theme from the regular Venue. Also, an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, semi-digital driver display, single-pane sunroof, height-adjustable driver seat and manual AC have been provided. Apart from this, six airbags, a rear parking camera, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a hill start assist have been provided for the safety of the passenger.

Price of Hyundai Venue S(O) Plus

After this update of Hyundai Venue, its other variants will not be affected. Its ex-showroom price will be from Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.44 lakh.

Competition – In the country, it continues to compete with cars like Kia Sonnet, Mahindra XUV 3X0, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Francox, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Toyota Tigor.
