Hyundai EXTER CNG Variant Launched: Dual Cylinder Technology and Pricing Details

Hyundai Motor India Limited today launched a new CNG variant of its most affordable and popular micro SUV Hyundai EXTER. The company has named this new variant as Exter Hi-CNG Duo (H-CNG Duo). This is the first car of Hyundai India in which twin-cylinder technology has been used for the CNG tank.

Hyundai has launched the first car, the Hyundai EXTER with double CNG cylinder technology in the Indian market. (The company has launched this technology under the name Hy-CNG Duo. Earlier, the company had launched the Knight Edition of Exter)

What is the price and variants of the car

The company has introduced the Hyundai EXTER Hy-CNG Duo in a total of three variants. - Which includes S, SX and SX Knight.

• S - Rs 8.50 lakh
• SX - Rs 9.23 lakh
• SX Knight - Rs 9.38 lakh

The starting price of this micro SUV is Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Exter CNG is available only in mid-spec variants.

How are the features

The company has given many great features to Hyundai EXTER's Hy-CNG Duo. It has features like smart electric sunroof, LED DRL, LED tail lamp, fully automatic temperature control, 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system, six airbags, TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system), ESC, HAC, 15-inch alloy wheels.

Power and performance:

Hyundai claims that EXTER CNG is capable of giving mileage of up to 27.1 km per kg. It has a 1.2 liter petrol engine which generates 68 bhp and 95.2 Nm of torque in CNG mode. At the same time, in petrol mode, this engine generates 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque. The company has introduced the CNG variant only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
