Nagaland Firing Update: Commandos Tried To Hide Bodies Of Killed Coal Minor

In a recent firing incident in Nagaland, 13 civilians of Triu village were mistakenly killed by army men. The Commandos killed 6 coal minors and tried to get rid of their bodies. The state commissioner and the Nagaland DGP wrote in a joint report on Saturday’s Mon district shootout.

In the report on Saturday’s Mon district shootout, the villagers of Tiru village said that they came out hearing gunshots and found commandos of the 21st Para Special Force trying to get rid of the bodies of the coal minors.

The villagers attacked commandos after seeing their dead brethren. The commandos again open fire and killed 7 more Naga Civilians. “Special Force Personnel fired indiscriminately” confirmed by the eyewitness of the incident.

8 villagers were retired home in the pickup truck around 4:10 pm” mentioned by DGP John Longkumar in the report. On Sunday, The report on the Nagaland firing was submitted to the state government.
