Motorola looks ready to shake up the mid-range smartphone market again. A fresh leak has now revealed the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion full specifications and this one feels like a direct response to everything users complained about last year.

According to various reports and a tipster known as Evan Blass (@evleaks), the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is getting closer to launch, with nearly every key detail now out in the open. From a giant battery to a high-refresh AMOLED display, Motorola seems to be going all-in this time.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion display and design upgrades

The leaked Motorola Edge 70 Fusion specifications suggest a large 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. That alone puts it ahead of many phones under Rs 25,000.

Other display highlights include the following:

  • HDR10+ support
  • Up to 5,200 nits peak brightness
  • Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection

In real-world terms, this means brighter outdoor visibility and a significantly smoother scrolling experience. The phone is also said to have a nylon and linen-inspired textured rear panel, which could help it stand out from the usual glossy designs flooding the market.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion chipset and performance

The chipset is one of the biggest talking points about the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion leak. Motorola is reportedly ditching MediaTek in favor of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC.

This is a smart move. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is known for good thermal management and stable performance, especially for gaming and long usage sessions. . The phone is expected to be launched in:

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage

For a phone expected to sit around the Rs 25,000 price range, this hardware combo feels well-judged and competitive.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion battery highlight

Here’s where Motorola really flexes. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is tipped to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.

That’s a serious upgrade over the 5,500mAh battery on the Edge 60 Fusion. In practical terms, this could mean:

  • Two-day battery life for average users
  • A full day of heavy gaming or streaming
  • Less battery anxiety overall

Brands like iQOO and Realme have already moved into the 7,000mAh space and Motorola clearly doesn’t want to be left behind.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion camera setup

On paper, the camera setup looks familiar. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is rumored to feature:

  • 50MP Sony LYTIA primary rear camera
  • 32MP front-facing selfie camera

While the megapixel count hasn’t changed much, improvements are expected in image processing and low-light performance, an area where the Edge 60 Fusion struggled. If Motorola gets this right then this may prove to be one of the biggest criticisms of its previous model.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion durability and software

Motorola seems serious about durability this year. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is tipped to come with:

  • IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance
  • MIL-STD-810H certification

On the software side, the phone will be expected to come with Android 16 and receive three years of OS updates. Clean Android, no bloat, still one of Motorola’s biggest strengths.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion launch timeline

Leaks suggest an India launch around April 2026, likely priced approximately Rs 25,000. If that holds true, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion could be one of the most well-balanced mid-range phones of the year.

This feels like Motorola listening to its users. Bigger battery, improved chipset, sharper display, these are all meaningful improvements, not marketing fluff. If the camera tuning and charging speeds hold up in real-world testing, this phone can become a fan favorite.

For now, nothing is official. However, according to the leaks, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion seems like a safe refresh and more like Motorola finally becoming aggressive once again.
