PM Modi has made a remarkable decision that will favor Indian Education and boost the quality of our future generation. He has invited/approved foreign universities to set up their campus here in India. The purpose will be held by University Grants Commission (UGC).
The Indian Government has pushed the country’s education to a better level with foreign universities in India. The UGC has granted permission to accept the establishment of foreign universities in our country. This will let Indian students study at the top global universities at an economic cost. Moreover, other neighboring will also get attracted by these global firms.

Foreign Universities in India
The foreign universities in India program will soon begin and these universities will be given 10 years approval. UGC will or may renew the Universities contract in the ninth year of the tenure. These Universities will be set free to decide the fee structure and syllabus for their courses. However, any courses that abide Indian law and/or are subjected to any fallacious agenda will be ruled out.

UGC India tweeted saying “Foreign universities setting up campuses in India will be a win-win situation as it will provide Indian students an opportunity to access international education in their homeland, and boost arrival of foreign students to India: UGC Chairperson.”
Jagdish Kumar, Chairman of UGC said that two types of foreign universities will be eligible to apply for setting up India. Firstly, the any institution out of top 500 global institution from around the world are eligible for the scheme. Lastly, the universities that have proven excellence in their home region will also be considered. Moreover, the Universities can also choose Teachers and other authority from India as well.
UGC has already started to promote the cause. The officials from the embassy all around the world will be contacted and maximum number of top global universities will be personally called for the informed about the agenda.
