The latest car in the company’s portfolio is the MG Windsor EV. Its official booking will start tomorrow, October 3, at 7:30 am. For this, customers will have to pay a token amount of Rs 11,000. Customers can book it on the MG Motor India website as well as at their nearest MG dealership.
MG Motor’s share in the Indian market
MG Motor has become the second largest-selling electric car company in India. The company’s market share has exceeded 21%. Now only Tata Motors is ahead of it in this segment. The special thing is that the share of electric vehicles in MG’s portfolio has reached 50%.
Ex-showroom price of MG Windsor EV
The starting ex-showroom price of MG Windsor EV with battery subscription has been fixed at Rs 9.99 lakh. Whereas, the normal ex-showroom price is Rs 13.50 lakh. The company is renting batteries to customers buying Windsor EV.
MG Windsor EV variants and their colours
The MG Windsor EV is available in three variants, namely Excite, Exclusive and Essence. Customers can choose this electric car from four colour options – Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige and Turquoise Green.
Powertrain, features and specifications of MG Windsor EV
The MG Windsor EV is getting a 38kWh battery pack. Its range is 331Km. The electric motor powering the front wheels is capable of generating 134bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. It has four drive modes Eco, Eco+, Normal and Sport.
The seats inside the car have a quilted pattern. It has a 15.6-inch infotainment system, which runs on the same OS found on the Comet. It has a great seatback option, which can recline up to 135 degrees electrically. In this you also get a center armrest with USB charging port, rear AC vent and cup holder.
It offers features like wireless phone mirroring, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, climate control with rear AC vent, connected car technology, reclining rear seat, panoramic sunroof. It has noise controller in multiple languages, Jio apps and connectivity, TPMS, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and a full LED light.
