MG Motor India has launched the Blackstorm edition of its premium SUV, the Gloster, at Rs 40.3 lakh. The SUV is mechanically unchanged and features a black theme across the exterior and interior.

The Gloster’s dimensions of 4,985mm in length, 1,926mm in width, and 1,867mm in height have not changed. Nonetheless, the outside gets another search for this version. MG has chosen the well-liked all-black design that has been successful for other manufacturers, including the “Dark Edition” of Tata Motorsmg, the “Black Edition” of Maruti Suzuki, and the “Deep Black Pearl” of Volkswagen, to name a few.

All of the features found on the standard Gloster are also available in the Blackstorm edition of the Gloster. Engine and performance
The MG Gloster Blackstorm release goes on with the equivalent powertrain with no knock-in execution. The 2WD adaptation gets the 163hp, 2.0-liter, super diesel motor, while the all-wheel drive variation gets the 218hp, 2.0-liter twin awesome diesel motor. A BorgWarner transfer case with a shift-on-fly system is included in the 4WD drivetrain, while both engines are mated to an 8-speed gearbox.
Gloster Blackstorm edition price
The price of the Gloster Blackstorm edition starts at Rs 40.3 lakh for the 6-seater and 7-seater 2WD variants, while the price of the 6- or 7-seater 4WD will set you back by Rs 43.08 lakh. The prices are higher than the top-spec 7- or 8-seater Savvy variant, which retails for Rs 41.77 lakh.
