Recent Q&A session- What did Marnus Labuschagne say?
Marnus Labuschange, the legendary Aussie batsman, recently took the Twitterverse by storm with his hilarious Q&A session.
In a recent social media escapade, the fearless Marnus Labuschagne stirred up some excitement by revealing his daring desire to share the crease with none other than the legendary Indian batsman, Virat Kohli.
- The Aussie bowler recently faced off against Kohli in both the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and a thrilling three-match ODI series. And if that wasn’t enough to satisfy his thirst for adventure, the spirited cricketer also engaged with his adoring fans in a flurry of question-and-answer action, bravely fielding queries about everything from his on-field prowess to his off-field shenanigans.
- When a cricket fan asked him which top batsman he’d absolutely love to bat with (because let’s face it, who wouldn’t?), the cheeky chap quickly replied with the name of none other than ex-India captain Virat Kohli. Oh boy, can you imagine the sheer dominance they’d bring to the crease?
- He told: “has to be Virat Kohli; we’d run heaps of 2s.” Whereas when asked about Rohit Sharma, he said, “Watching him bat is easy on the eye – smooth bat swing.”
Labuschagne boldly declared his love for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, hailing them as his favourite team in the IPL. With fire in his eyes, he applauded the incredible talents of India’s R Ashwin, praising him as the ultimate spinner – someone who has pushed him to his very limits on the pitch.
- When asked about “Who is moreover difficult to face? Lyon in the nets or Ashwin out there in the middle?” He answered: “It’s always harder in the middle regardless of who’s bowling (can’t get out in the nets).”
Australia may have succeeded in stifling Suryakumar Yadav’s bat during the ODI series, where he was dismissed for a duck in all three games. Nevertheless, when quizzed on who’s the superior T20I batter, Pakistan’s Mohammed Rizwan or the spirited Indian player, it was the latter who won the daredevil’s heart.
Which Indian dish melted Labuschagne’ heart?
When Labuschagne was asked about his favourite Indian dish, he told,“Butter chicken w/ spinach & cheese naan – had it every day for 8 weeks.”
Labuschagne declared that he and the team were itching for the opportunity to lock horns with the legendary pace trio of Dale Steyn, Shaun Pollock, and Glenn McGrath. It would be a thrilling encounter for them, testing their mettle against some of the all-time greats of the game.
