Mahindra XEV 9S, XEV 7e India Launch on Nov 27, Know Details

Mahindra has officially announced the name of its next all-electric SUV, the Mahindra XEV 9S. It will be the company's largest and true 7-seater electric SUV to date, built on Mahindra's INGLO platform. The company is set to world premiere it at the 'Scream Electric' event in Bengaluru on November 27, 2025. Let's learn more about it.

Mahindra XEV 9S Impressive Design 

The Mahindra XEV 9S has been designed with an all-electric mindset. It is not a reengineered version of an ICE (internal combustion engine) model, but a "born electric" SUV. Its flat-floor design provides excellent cabin space and flexibility, especially the sliding second-row seats, which provide excellent comfort to every passenger. Its low center of gravity will ensure excellent ride and stability.

Mahindra XEV 9S  features will be available

Mahindra says the XEV 9S is not just an electric SUV, but is designed for those who think big, love to travel, and don't want to compromise on electric performance. This model also marks the brand's first anniversary of its electric journey, which will be celebrated at the 'Scream Electric' event.

Mahindra XEV 7e features will be available

• Mahindra is introducing the XEV 7e, an electric version of its popular SUV, the XUV700. It was first seen in leaked images in January 2025, and its official unveiling is expected in November.
• The new XEV 7e will feature a closed-off front grille, a connected lighting setup, and a triple-screen interior layout. Like Mahindra's flagship EV, the XEV 9e, it could come in two battery pack options: 59 kWh (542 km range) and 79 kWh (656 km range).
• Mahindra is poised to further strengthen its foothold in the Indian electric vehicle market with the launch of the XEV 7e. It is expected to launch in India on November 27, 2025. Its estimated price could be around ₹21 lakh.
