Mahindra Thar Roxx: Mahindra has announced the opening of bookings for the Thar Roxx. The 5-door off-roader can be booked online on the brand’s official website or at Mahindra dealerships for a token amount of Rs 21,000. Deliveries of the Thar Roxx will begin from October 12. However, this will be for the Ivory-Black interior, while the Roxx with Mocha Brown interiors will begin deliveries by the end of January 2025.
According to media reports, the Mahindra 5-door Thar Rocks has a waiting period of around 3 months. Official bookings begin today, while Mahindra dealers were already accepting unofficial pre-orders for the same. The waiting period for the 5-door Thar is expected to extend up to 6 months or more.
Mahindra Thar Roxx: What else is there?
The Thar Roxx gets premium features like 2 sunroof options (single-pane and panoramic), ventilated front seats, dual 10.25-inch displays for infotainment and digital driver display, and a wireless charger.
On the safety front, this lifestyle SUV gets six airbags and a 360-degree camera as standard. The Level 2 ADAS includes features like lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.

Bookings for the Thar Roxx will begin at 11 am. The booking amount has reportedly been set at Rs 21,000.
You can book the SUV online through the Mahindra website or at Mahindra dealerships. Deliveries for the variant with dual-tone ivory-black interiors will begin this Dussehra (October 12). Deliveries for the variant with mocha brown interiors will begin by the end of January 2025.
Powertrain Options
The Mahindra Thar Roxx draws power from both turbo-petrol and diesel engines. Its 2.0-litre turbo petrol unit produces 160 bhp/330 Nm and 175 bhp/380 Nm, while its 2.2-litre diesel mill can produce 150 bhp/330 Nm and 173 bhp/370 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed MT and AT.
