On Friday, Madhya Pradesh gets ready for the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections. A sum of 80 competitors, including four ladies and 33% orientation up-and-comer, are challenging across six parliamentary seats. Let’s examine it in depth.

1. Tikamgarh(SC)

Pankaj Ahirwar, a newcomer to the Congress, is challenging BJP candidate Virendra Kumar Khatik for his fourth Tikamgarh victory. By more than 3.48 lakh votes, Khatik defeated Kiran Ahirwar of the Congress to win in 2019. The electorate has just seven up-and-comers.

2. Khajuraho 

Congress is backing All India Forward Block (AIFB) up-and-comer RB Prajapati against BJP’s state boss VD Sharma. The INDIA coalition at first distributed the seat to its union accomplice Samajwadi Party, however its applicant assignment paper was dismissed.

3. Damoh

From this saffron party’s stronghold, Congress’ Tarbar Singh Lodhi faces BJP’s Rahul Singh Lodhi. Prahlad Patel previously held the seat, but he left to run for state minister and the assembly election. With more than 3.53 lakh votes, Patel prevailed in 2019 over Congressman Pratap Singh Lodhi.

4. Satna

Ganesh Singh, an MP for the BJP, versus Siddharth Kushwaha, a member of the Congress. Satna sees the biggest number of applicants at 19.

5. Rewa

6. Hoshangabad

Madhya Pradesh’s Lok Sabha elections are broken up into four phases. On April 19, the first phase took place. Friday will host the second phase, which will be followed by the remaining two phases on May 7 and May 13. Vote counting will be finished on June 4.
