On Monday, the Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergei Lavrov thanked Brazil for the efforts he made to sort out the dispute between Russia and Ukraine before a visit with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
At the same time, the president drew criticism from the US on the same day for his newest comments stating that the West has been boosting war by arming Ukraine, meanwhile, he was praised by Russia.

Lavrov will meet at another time on Monday with Lula, who has offered to make a group of countries not indulged in the Russia-Ukraine war to dealer peace.
During the weekend, after coming back from China where he had a word with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Lula repeated his call for nations to put a break over offering arms.

“We are attempting to make a cluster of nations with any participation in the war, that don’t want the war and defend world peace to have a word with both Russia and Ukraine,” he revealed in another remark to journalists.
“But we also have to have a word with the United States and European Union. Simply, we have to persuade people that peace is the way.”

Kyiv, Washington, and other subsidiaries say peace now will leave Russia in control of the area it captured by force, and Ukraine has a right to look over Western arms to take the invaders out.
The White House and the United States State Department did not swiftly replied to requests for comment on Lula’s remarks.
However, Michael McCaul, the Republican chairman of the United States House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee referred to Lula’s comments as “wrong and thoughtless.”

The United States along with the European Union has been supplying Ukraine with weapons and other back since Russia captured the neighboring country over a year ago.
Germany allegedly asked Brazil to provide arms also, but Lula denied it.
