Kate Hudson Controversial Comment on Nepotism Hollywood

Hollywood actress Kate Hudson, who appeared in movies like Fool’s Gold and Deepwater Horizon, appeared in an interview with the British news outlet “The Independent.”

In the interaction, the actress commented on the growing controversy surrounding nepotism in Hollywood.

As per her words, she does not care about the debate and she believes that nepotism is more common in other industries, such as modelling and business.

She also said, “hard work is the key to success in the entertainment industry, regardless of a person’s background.”

The debate of nepotism came up when an interviewer asked Kate about being part of New York Magazine’s Year of the Nepo-Baby.

Kate Hudson answered, “The nepotism thing, I mean… I don’t really care. I look at my kids and we’re a storytelling family. It’s definitely in our blood.

“People can call it whatever they want, but it’s not going to change it… I actually think there are other industries where it’s [more common]. Maybe modelling?”

“I see it in a business way more than I see it in Hollywood. Sometimes I’ve been in business meetings where I’m like, wait, whose child is this? Like, this person knows nothing.”

Apart from that, Kate also said that she respects real talent, no matter where it comes from. She said “I don’t care where you come from, or what your relationship to the business is… If you work hard and you kill it, it doesn’t matter.”
