Dax Tejera died at the of age of 37

Dax Tejara a two-time Emmy-nominated producer for ABC News died due to a heart attack at the age of 37 on Friday 23 Dec.

This Week producer in ABC News led by George Stephanopoulos and Martha Raddatz. He was appointed to the executive producer position in February 2020.

ABC News president Kim Godwin announced the news in a memo sent to staff on Saturday.

Dax Tejera died at the age of 37

Dax Tejera was a Dartmouth College graduate with a history and government degree, before joining the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in 2016.

He began his work in the news field in August 2007 as a News Associate with NBC Universal Media and worked here for 5 years and was promoted to the roles like researcher, overnight assignment editor, and producer.

In 2013, he began working as an Executive Producer of America with Jorge Ramos at Fusion Media Network. Where he executive produced the tv special Soul of the Nation Presents: Corazon de America-celebrating Hispanic culture.

Dax Tejera was survived by his wife Veronica and two young daughters.

Throughout his career at the ABC network, he covered then-President Donald Trump’s summit with North Korean leader Kim Jeong-Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin and Jan. 6 Capitol Riots.
