Kangana Ranaut Slapped by CISF Guard at Chandigarh Airport, But Why?

Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a woman personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at the Chandigarh airport on Thursday, sources told HT.

According to sources, Kangana Ranaut, who is an MP from Mandi, was slapped for pushing security personnel during a security check, as the actress-politician refused to put her phone in the tray during the security check. Kangana Ranaut left for Delhi on a Vistara flight at 3 pm.

According to news agency ANI, a constable-rank CISF officer allegedly slapped Kangana during a frisking at the Chandigarh airport. ANI quoted sources as saying that an inquiry committee of senior CISF officers has been constituted for further investigation

According to The Indian Express, the woman constable claimed during interrogation that Kangana Ranaut made derogatory comments for all women of Punjab during the farmers' agitation. Kangana said she will file a complaint with the MHA.

Kangana slapped but why?

It is being told that this incident happened around 3.30 pm, when Ranaut was at Chandigarh airport to catch a flight to Delhi. According to sources, a CISF officer slapped her during an argument during the search. It is being told that the CISF guard was angry with Kangana Ranaut for speaking against the farmers' movement. Mayank Madhur, who was with Kangana, tried to slap Kulwinder Kaur. After this, a complaint was lodged with the police on behalf of Ranaut.

Congress did not get the lead only from Rampur, Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti. These three areas were occupied by Congress. Vikramaditya Singh got a lead of 21437 votes from Rampur.
