In Gwalior, there was a show announced that was the concert of Kailash Kher. This concert was held on the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of the earlier Prime Minister, that is Atal Bihari Vajpayee. To commemorate and celebrate his one century of birth anniversary, Kailash Kher was invited to perform at the celebration. The event began at 7 pm and lasted till late night. This event was being held at the Vyapar Mela Mandal.
The event began during the evening. Kailash Kher came up on the stage and started to perform his live concert. The event initiated on a good note but then mishaps took its way. As he was singing melodiously, for which he is famous, his song feels so soothing to ears and also feels very heart touching. He kept on singing songs by songs but in the middle of the concert, a twist happened and the event needed to be called off.
While he was performing, the audience started to come towards him by running in a stampede way. Upon which Kailash Kher, firstly reacted politely and requested to stop creating such nuisance but when on repeated requests the audience did not stopped behaving like that, then he paused the event and said in slight anger that “I praised you all for being a lovely audience and you all are just doing exactly opposite to it. For appreciating you, what I get in return is your uncivilized behavior which is really unacceptable for me. Please control yourselves and stop creating this issue. If anyone even tries to come near my equipment and instruments, then I will immediately stop this event in that heat of the moment.” He further added “Please jaanwargiri mat kariye.” He referred to the audience as “jaanwar” and called the audience’s behavior as “jaanwargiri”; His original words were “Humne aapki prashansa ki aur aap itna jaanwargiri kar rahe hain, jaanwargiri mat kariye please, agar koi hamare instruments ya equipment ke paas aaya, toh hum show band kar denge.”
When the scenario underwent the situation leading to go out of control, Kailash Kher called the senior police officers to come upon the stage to manage the nuisance created by the overcrowded ones but the presence and protection of senior police officers made no difference in the situation resulting in the failure of controlling the crowd. When the scenario became worsen, he left the stage only by saying “I salute you all”; his original words were “Aapko main pranaam karta hoon.”
