What is Joker Malware?
Joker is a well-known malware in the industry with the potential to update itself and get into the Google play store.
Joker is made to steal information like SMS and contact through which it can do malicious activities.

Two More Malware Families Found by ThreatLabZ
FaceStealer Malware
It targets users on Facebook and makes them log in on a fake Facebook dashboard. After they log in, the malware steals the credentials and uses them for malicious activities.
A breakdown of how FaceStealer malware works is available on Zscaler’s official website. Those interested in knowing the technical analysis and code can go through their blog.
Coper Malware
Another malware is coper which targets mostly the applications developed for banking purposes by showing itself as QR scanners. It appears as a free and legitimate application to gain users’ trust.
Once they download the app, it asks for an update. It then installs malware through the Google firebase app developer tool.

After this process gets done, it asks for accessibility permission to continue using the app and then takes full control of the device.
It sends SMS, intercepts them, provides device locking services, and even uninstalls apps on their own.
Attack is done through a C2 service remotely and steals users’ money. These malwares are dangerous so if android users have downloaded any apps mentioned above they should immediately uninstall them.
