US President Joe Biden said that he told Israeli Head of State Benjamin Netanyahu that the US was prepared to offer "all suitable methods for help " after the Palestinian Islamist bunch Hamas sent off an assault on Israel.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also expressed "unequivocal condemnation" of the Hamas attacks.
