US President Joe Biden: Due to G-20, the Delhi government has declared a public holiday from 8 to 10 September. All private offices, malls and markets will remain closed. There will be 3 days holiday in all the schools. In fact, the Delhi Police had recommended the government to declare a public holiday regarding the G-20 summit. After this the Delhi government took this decision.

According to media reports, private offices can be instructed to do work from home. Metro service will continue during this time. However, in view of security, some metro stations like Supreme Court, Khan Market, Mandi House can be kept closed.

The White House has announced that US President Joe Biden will visit India on 7 September. This will be his visit two days before the G-20 summit and he will stay for four days. During this, he will get a chance to meet Prime Minister Modi twice.

According to a report from news agency AFP, the National Security Advisor of the White House, has revealed that during Joe Biden visit, discussions will cover issues such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, climate change, and tackling poverty by enhancing the World Bank’s capacity. Alongside the G-20 Summit, important negotiations might occur between India & the United States on business, defense, and significant cyber security agreements.
