Internet Services Suspended In Assam For 24 Hours! Clashes Between Protestors And Police Continue

Amidst the severe clashes between the police and the people protesting the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019, mobile internet services have been suspended in 10 districts of Assam.
And not only this, even the army has been asked to be on Standby as the magnitude of violent mayhem is alarming.

You can grasp the gravity of the situation by the fact that even Assam’s CM Sarbananda Sonowal was one amongst those stuck at the Guwahati Airport on Wednesday amid massive protests!
However, Mr Sonowal was safely escorted to his residence by his security detail.

A majority of the protestors are students who have made certain parts of the city a war-zone, fighting violently against the security forces, not ready to back off even when the police resorted to firing blank shots, tear gas shells and lathi-charging!

The whole country is in a huge brawl over the bill but the north-eastern states are severely affected by it.
And the government is resorting to tyranny instead of establishing communication with them!

What kind of message are they sending to the people fighting for their right?
