Interesting And Appealing Bollywood Movies That Are Underrated

Every year Bollywoodserve us with the indulgence of numerous movies, but amidst all these movies, there are some movies which become underrated, people fail to understand such movies and hence they become flop or ignored by audiences. Well these movies are actually appealing and interesting; their story is quite entertaining and compelling. You should not forget to watch such movies.

Today we are presenting some of these movies:

1) Tara Rum Pum

Tara Rum was released in 2007, starring Rani Mukherjee and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles under the banner of Yash Raj films. It was really a cute and romantic movie dealing with sports but failed at box office. This movie has outstanding songs which are worth listening to. Movie was picturized in New York.

In this movie the main character Rajveer singh (RV)  played by Saif Ali Khan had a great car racing career and he meets Radhika (Rani Mukherjee) and falls for her but Radhika’s father refuse to accept RV, due to the uncertainity of his sports career.

But Radhika and RV still marry and then suddenly one day RV met with an accident during racing which was planned intentionally by his rival. And he loses all his wealth and their life changes even there was a great emotional scene when RV’s son eat from the garbage. This movie has the best story, lovely songs but still failed. To make a place in the heart of audiences.

2) Luck

It is another lovely and cute romantic comedy film under the banner of Yash Raj films starring Parineeti and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the main lead alongwith Anupam Kher and Karan Wahi. This movie showed the performed combination of Hyderabadi and Lucknowi Andaz.This movie also emphasized on the issue of dowry in a sarcastic and comedy way.

In this movie Gullu  (Parineeti Chopra) who was middle class  girl works as a salesgirl in the shoe showroom and dreams of becoming a shoe designer and doing a course from America.Her father Abdul Qadir (Anupam Kher) who was a clerk in a Law Firm search for a perfect match for her daughter but fails to find as he couldn’t afford a big dowry till then she falls for Amjad ( Karan Wahi) and decide to get married with him but things didn’t work out because of the greed of Amjad’s parents for big dowry.

And hence she becomes angry and then decides to take a revenge from any groom who just have a hunger for dowry and trick the groom under IPC 498A(dowry act) and get the money and fulfill her dream of becoming a shoe designer. Meanwhile she meets ‘Taru’ (Aditya Roy Kapoor) and tricks him according to her plan but eventually falls in love with him. This movie showed a perfect chemistry between ‘Taru and Gulu’. You will really enjoy the silly things and tantrums by Parineetiin the movie.

4) Break Ke Baad

Break Ke Baad was a romantic and endearing moviestarring great actors like Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan in the lead roles. It was more of a fairy tale movie. It had appreciable songs and music. The story is about Abbay (Imraan Khan) and Aaliya( Deepika Padukone) who were childhood friends.

Aaliya dreams of becoming a successful actress as her mother was a superhit actress and Imraan Khan wants to be a chef but stuck by the boring family business of running theatres. Aaliya goes to Australia to fulfill her dream and then story takes a turning point.Here again the adorable chemistry between Aaliya and Abbay was really interesting. Abhay is shown as an ideal boy with whom every girl want to marry.

5) Bas Ek Pal

Its crime thriller movie. This film was a multi starrer with a unique concept starring Juhi Chwla, Jimi Shergill, Sanjay Suri, Urmila Matondkar in the lead roles. This movie was quiet poignant and emotional too. Bas Ek Pal movie is about  the issues of extra marital affairs and even the heinous thing of man being raped. Film had some light songs which were quite soothing. The most known song of Atif in this movie is 'Lekar Yaadein Teri'.

6) Laga Chunri Mai Daag

This movie was a fully romantic film of 70s. This was also a multi starrer movie starring some great stars like Rakhi, Amitabh Bachachan, Shashi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman and Rishi Kapoor. Ahain Yash Raj Production has made this movie. Kabhie Kabhie movie’s songs you can’t resist to listen, they are so captivation with some hit songs like, ‘Main pal do pal ka shayar…’ Though it has an interesting story but it was a flop film of that time.
