Shubhman Gill refuted all the misconceptions about his bad form in cricket. Gill scored an astounding century against New Zealand in a T20 match held on Wednesday. The match was held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India played the third and last match of a T20 series against New Zealand. The match went seemingly in favor of India as they scored their highest total of 234 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. However, the second inning was quite numbing as New Zealand lost all their wickets at a score of 66 runs. This led to a seamless victory for Team India.
Shubhman Gill’s Century Broke Virat Kohli’s Record
The match went extremely thrilling until the first half as Shubhman Gill scored a century in flash speed. Gill scored his century in just 51 balls and he scored 126 runs in 63 balls in the match. Shubhman smashed 12 fours and 7 seven sixes in the match. With this, Shubhman also broke the highest T20 score by an Indian batsman succeeding Virat Kohli with a record of 121 runs in 61 balls against Afghanistan.

Shubhman Becomes Youngest to Score Century
Shubhman has also achieved the tag of becoming the youngest player to hit a century in the T20 format. He recently scored his maiden century in the T20 format against New Zealand. Gill also became 5th player to score centuries in all three cricket formats.
