IND vs AUS: In the absence of Hardik Pandya, Team India defeated Australia by two wickets. The Indian team under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav chased the record target. This was his first match as captain, but he did not feel the pressure as soon as he entered the field.

He said, ‘It was great to see the way the boys maintained their spirit. This was a natural situation for Rinku. His restraint also gave me peace.
Suryakumar praised Mukesh
Suryakumar mentioned Mukesh Kumar’s last over during the Australian innings, in which only five runs were scored. This fast bowler from Bengal had bowled many yorker balls. The captain said about Mukesh, ‘It was good bowling.
The way the three fast bowlers brought us back into the match after 16 overs was an incredible achievement. Surya admitted that due to the absence of dew, he felt that chasing the target would be difficult, but it did not happen.
He said, ‘Thought there would be some dew, but it did not happen. It is not a big ground, and I knew it would be easy to bat. Thought they might score 230-235, but the bowlers did really well. At one time India’s score was 22 runs for two wickets and it seemed that Team India was in trouble, but after this Surya and Ishan Kishan made a brilliant partnership. He has faced such situations many times for Mumbai Indians.
Special advice given to Akshar-Arshdeep and Ravi Bishnoi
Surya further said, it feels good that we did our work. The same thing that was said between Ishan Kishan and me was that don’t look at the chase, just bat for 10 overs and in the end it was beneficial for us. We got very good support on the field. I would tell Akshar, Arshdeep and Ravi not to prolong the game. Ever since Rinku Singh came into international cricket, he has been doing well, this is his specialty.
