Hyundai Alcazar facelift: Hyundai is readying a facelift of the Alcazar, which is expected to arrive in the near future. The seven-seat SUV was first launched in 2021 and test mules of the updated model have been spotted on multiple occasions in recent months. Now, there is news that the South Korean carmaker will launch the Alcazar facelift in the next step.
According to a recent report by Autocar India, the facelifted Alcazar is expected to hit the market in September this year. The spy pictures received so far suggest that the Alcazar is expected to get subtle cosmetic revisions and some feature upgrades.

The front of the new Alcazar is going to get a dramatic change. The chrome-laden parametric grille has been replaced by a sleek, all-black design with horizontal slats. It is flanked by a new set of vertically positioned dual-projector LED headlights on either side. Overall, the look is quite similar to the recently launched Hyundai Creta N Line, including the distinctive H-shaped LED DRLs and squared-off look.

The cabin design is expected to be similar to the facelifted Creta launched in 2024, with the same dual-screen layout. Just like the current Alcazar, the new model will offer both six and seven-seater options. The six-seater configuration will retain captain chairs in the second row for maximum comfort.
The feature list is expected to include a dual-display setup with two 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats for those hot days, dual-zone climate control for individual comfort preferences, 360-degree surround camera for tight parking manoeuvring, and electrically adjustable driver seats for personalised fit.
Hyundai Alcazar facelift: Powertrain specs
The new Hyundai Alcazar is expected to retain its existing engine options including a 1.5-litre GDI turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre CRDI diesel unit. The petrol engine produces 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine produces 115 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. Both engines are likely to retain the transmission options, with a 6-speed manual as standard and a 7-speed DCT automatic for petrol and a 6-speed torque converter automatic for diesel available.
When will the Hyundai Alcazar facelift be launched

Hyundai has not yet announced the launch date of the Alcazar, but it has been confirmed. According to which, it will be launched in September before the festive season. Some difference in prices can be seen due to the changes made in it. The recently launched variants range from Rs 16.78 lakh to Rs 21.28 lakh, ex-showroom.
