Step By Step Process To Link Your Aadhaar Card With Voter ID
Every citizen can link them via the national voter service portal, phone, SMS or from their nearest booth level officers. Here is a detailed procedure
1. By Using National Voter Service Portal

1. Open Chrome and visit https://voterportal.eci.gov.in/
2. Log in to the portal by your mobile number, email ID, Voter ID number and enter the password
3. Now enter your state, district, and personal details like name, date of birth and father’s name.
4. Then toggle on the search button, all your details will be displayed on your screen if your details match the government’s data.
5. Click on the “Feed Aadhaar No” option, available on the left side of the screen.
6. Now enter your name, Aadhaar number, voter ID number, registered mobile number and registered email address.
7. After filling the form, check your details once more and tap submit button.
8. A message pops up on your screen as a confirmation of the application is registered successfully.

2. By Using SMS

1. Open the messaging app on your phone.
2. Type <Voter ID Number> <Aadhaar Card Number>
3. Send it on 51969 or 166
3. By Using Phone
Call 1950 on weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm. Share your Aadhaar Card information and your voter ID Number to link your Aadhaar Card with your voter ID.

4. By Contacting Booth Level Officer

Share your details with the booth level office near you. The office will crosscheck your information and contact you for further verification. These are the four methods by which you can link your Aadhaar card with your Voter ID cards.

The Election Commission of India has proposed the electoral law in which you get four chances to register for a Voter ID in a year. By the law, the citizens who are over 18 years old need to register as voters.
