A piece of very shocking news came from the sets of Kamal Haasan’s film, Indian 2. After an unexpected accident took place on the set and collapsed to the set’s ground. As per the sources, three people died, and around nine people got injured in the accident.

All three people who lost their lives were assistant directors of the movie, which was being shot in a cinema located in Chennai. The names of the people who lost their lives were Madhu, a production assistant, art assistant Chandar, and assistant director Krishna.

The accident happened on Wednesday Night around 9:30 Pm when the film set was under development. Suddenly the huge crane fell on the people.

Lyca Productions, who is producing the big-budget project, took to their social media to disclose the news and showed their condolences. As per their tweet, Krishna (assistant director), Chandran (art assistant), and Madhu (production assistant) died in the horrific accident. Reportedly, Krishna is the son-in-law of famous cartoonist Madhan.
As soon as Hassan got to know about the misshapen, he immediately visited the set to meet and send the injured to the hospital. When asked about the accident, Kamal Hassan said,
“The accident is cruel. I lost three colleagues. More than my pain, the grief of their families would be immense. I share their sorrow. My deep condolences to them,”.
Also, Kamal took to his Twitter account and expressed his grief, saying,
“I have seen a lot of accidents, but what happened today was the most dangerous. I lost three of my colleagues. The pain of his family members is many times greater than my pain. I express my grief and condolences for this incident. The injured have been taken to the nearest hospital where their treatment is going on”.
Upon hearing the accident, Kamal Haasan immediately reached the set of ‘Indian 2’ and helped the injured reach the hospital.
“The men were inside the box-like structure on top of the crane when it crashed. It appears they were working on lighting for the shoot. The incident happened at 9:30 pm on Wednesday,” a police officer said on NDTV.
As the news came out, many celebs showed their grief. Apart from the technicians and actors who were a part of the movie, Aishwarya Rajesh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Prasanna showed their condolences about the accident that took three lives.
