Honda Elevate Apex Summer Edition: Honda Cars India has launched a new special version Apex Summer Edition of its popular SUV Elevate. The starting ex-showroom price of this edition has been kept slightly less than Rs 12.5 lakh . Which makes it about Rs 32,000 cheaper than the standard version of this car. The special thing is that this edition is based on the V trim. The company had indicated in the April sales report itself that the prices of some variants would be reduced.

This new edition has a good tadka of features, while the price has also been kept low. From the outside, it has piano black and chrome finish, Apex Edition badge and side skirts, which give it a special look. Talking about the inside, it has premium features like black and white dual-tone interior, new leather-like finish seats and door trim, seat cushion, seven-color ambient lighting and 360-degree camera.

The ventilated seat option will be available

The company said that this price will be applicable for a limited time only. Like the Apex Edition, some cosmetic updates have been made to its exterior, including Apex Edition badges and other items. Ventilated seats are available as standard fitment with this new edition. However, ventilated seats are still an optional accessory and are not part of the Apex Summer Edition. It has a new and larger 9-inch infotainment screen. Which supports 360-degree camera.

CNG retrofit kit will also be available

The company will also provide additional security in the Honda Elevate Apex Summer Edition. Honda will also add 360-degree camera feature to the higher trims of the standard Elevate. Apart from this, Honda Elevate Apex Summer Edition will continue to get ivory and black dual tone interior with ivory leatherette seat upholstery and soft-touch elements on the dashboard and door elements. The company is also offering a government-approved CNG retrofit kit, which is available with Honda Amaze and Elevate.

No changes have been made to the engine

Honda Elevate gets a 1.5-liter four-cylinder VTEC petrol engine, which generates 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque . The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or CVT automatic unit. The mileage of Elevate will be around 16 to 17 kilometers per liter. The ground clearance of Elevate is 220mm and the boot space is up to 458 liters. The ex-showroom price of Elevate V MT Apex Edition starts at Rs 12.86 lakh . At the same time, the ex-showroom price of VX CVT Apex Edition is Rs 15.25 lakh.

This new Honda Elevate Apex Summer Edition has been designed keeping in mind such customers who want a premium SUV, but want to compromise a little in the budget. Lower price, more features and attractive design make it a strong option against the naturally aspirated variants of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hydra, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta.
