Google Search Will Be More “Visual, Snackable, Personal, And Human”

Google Search

This Wednesday is Google I/O. Normally, there isn’t much core search news at I/O, but this year, we anticipate that to change as Google shows off and, ideally, launches new AI-powered capabilities for Google Search.

According to the documents, Google wants to focus on servicing young people worldwide by making its search engine more “visual, snackable, personal, and human.”

Leaving the 10 blue links

According to reports, Google will stop providing the traditional “ten blue links,” or listings of websites, in its search results and would instead offer a more “visual, snackable, personal, and human” structure and experience that is more likely to appeal to younger users.

Additionally, Google will feature a section in its search results where you may chat with its search engine. Will Google Bard be embedded? Will Magi be given to it? While the exact time that Google’s Sundar Pichai will take the stage to deliver the keynote address is unknown, we should find out on Wednesday.

Initiative Magi

As we previously reported, Google is developing a brand-new search engine, and a team of more than 160 Google employees is working full-time to enhance the functionality of Google Search.

According to these sources, this project is being worked on under the code name Magi and might be made available to some people as early as next month.

According to the report, Magi would let users carry out activities like purchasing shoes or making travel arrangements. This would enable users to conduct financial transactions while retaining the current, profitable Google search adverts.

These adjustments may enable users to respond to queries regarding “software coding and write code in response to a user’s request.” According to a document, Google might display an advertisement beneath the computer code responses, the report said.

Earlier reports stated that “the new search engine would offer users a far more personalized experience than the company’s current service, attempting to anticipate users’ needs.” There is currently no release date for the new Google search engine, which is still in its early phases.

What might be declared?

The Wall Street Journal said that Google “plans to place greater emphasis on responding to queries that traditional web results can’t easily answer.” In response to their searches, searchers can be prompted to answer further questions or scroll through images like TikTok videos.

This has already been demonstrated by the little videos that Google has been testing since 2020 and releasing soon after.

To make it simpler for users to consume content in bite-sized bits, Google may also display online forum entries that may be based on Q&A structured data.
