First Covid-19 Vaccine? Italian Scientists Claim To Have Developed It

On Wednesday, a team of Italian scientists claimed that they became successful to develop a vaccine for the deadly Covid-19. They claimed that the vaccine can kill the novel Coronavirus. As per reports, the new Covid-19 vaccine will work on the pandemic that has spread all over the world rapidly.

Many tests were done on mice and scientists found that the vaccine antibodies were present in the vaccine. Also, they said that these antibodies work on the human body and kill the virus from an infected person.  Moreover, the researchers found that the five vaccine candidates produced lots of antibodies, and chosen the two with the effective results.

Luigi Aurisicchio, CEO of Takis, the firm developing the medication said,

“A coronavirus candidate vaccine has neutralised the virus in human cells for the first time.”

He added,

“This is the most advanced stage of testing of a candidate vaccine created in Italy. Also, human tests are expected after this summer.”

As per the report, now all vaccines candidates being prepared are depend on the DNA protein spike’s genetic material. But these Covid-19 vaccine candidates are created with the “electroporation” technique.
