2023 Ducati Panigale V4 R performance
The new Panigale V4 R is claimed to use technical solutions that were previously reserved for MotoGP and the WorldSBK Championship. Powering the superbike is the new 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine, which is capable of reaching a maximum engine speed of 16,500 rpm in sixth gear (16,000 in other ratios). This powertrain produces 218 HP of maximum power at 15500 rpm and can go up to 240.5 HP!
2023 Panigale V4 R design and features
To enhance the racing aesthetic of the new superbike, carbon fiber components like rear mudguard, frame guard, protection for swingarm, sprocket and engine crankcase cover have been added. The supersport motorcycle gets a series of ‘power modes’ that allow the engine to reach its full potential with torque curves without electronic filters.
It has Power Mode High and Medium and Power Mode Low, which is designed for riding on the road or on surfaces with less grip. This mode limits the maximum power output of the bike to 160 HP and provides a smoother throttle response(Ducati Panigale V4 R).
The track-focused V4 R comes with a new ‘Track Evo’ display which differs by using external LEDs for gear shift indication, similar to the SBK motorcycles. The Ducati Panigale V4 R also gets a unique MotoGP inspired red and white livery with the number ‘1’ on the front fairing.
