Dinesh Karthik has announced his future plans ahead of IPL 2023. He will move ahead with his favorite job apart from playing cricket. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s star performer Karthik will leave the IPL 2023 and join Ashes 2023.
Karthik made this announcement ahead of IPL 2023 which will not be impacting his IPL 2023 games. Karthik will play for RCB and we might as well see a few more interesting innings from his bat.
Dinesh Karthik Announces Future Plans Ahead of IPL 2023
RCB wicket-keeper and batsman, Dinesh Karthik has announced that he will return to his favorite job after the IPL 2023 ends. Karthik will return to the cast as a commentator during Ashes 2023.
Ashes 2023 will begin on June 16 and Karthik will commentate alongside renowned names like Naser Hussain, Michael Atherton, Clarke, and David Lloyd. Dinesh Karthik has nicely fulfilled his duty as a commentator in various cricket series. However, this will be the first time he will be commentating on the Ashes series to be held in England.

Dinesh Karthik has played a total of 229 matches and has scored 4,376 runs in his IPL career to date. Moreover, he has scored 20 half-centuries and has hit the highest score of 97 runs missing his century by just a few steps.
RCB has retained Dinesh Karthik for IPL 2023 season for Rs 5.50 crore (similar to the price for which RCB bought Karthik in IPL 2022 for the first time). Previously, he played for Kolkata Knight Riders from 2018-21.
In IPL 2022, Karthik played all 16 matches out of which he lasted till the last ball in 10 matches. He scored 330 runs with a wholesome average of 55 runs. RCB knew Karthik is crucial for their team and thus they retained him for IPL 2023 without any second thought.
