The novel Covid-19 pandemic has now led to more than 30,000 deaths across the globe and left more than 6 Lakh infected.
Several nations including the US are ramping up initiatives and health measures as the death number from the deadly virus keeps rising. India also trying out measures to prevent the further spread of the Covid-19 that has took more than 30 lives in India and infected around 1,00 people so far.
Amid the crisis, 100+ Muslims from all over India gathered in #Nizamuddin mosque to offer prayers. Out of all 10 people are died of Corona while some of them are suspected to have symptoms of Corona.
This has sparked a heated argument among different religions, as Gautam gambhir on twitter tweeted;
“What were these people gathering at Nizamuddin thinking? Is it a joke that the entire country is under lockdown? One wrong action by anyone of us can lead to a disaster of gigantic proportions!”

Just one factual correction: There was no lockdown when people gathered there. The Tablighi Jamaat congregation was organised between 1st Mar- 15th Mar. There was no strict advisory by the govt too. In fact, there were few travel restrictions.

As of now numbers of the confirmed coronavirus positive patients connected to the nizamuddin building covered long distances, taking flights and trains, after the more likely became infected with the virus and were potentially spreading it on to others.
