India records 11,692 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, & 19 deaths

Union Health Ministry: India recorded 11,692 new covid cases in the last 24 hours, & 19 people died from the virus in one day, including nine deaths confirm by Kerala government, according to data released by the Union Health Minister on Friday.
A total number of Covid 2,29,739 tests were conducted in one day with the daily positivity rate at 5.09 percent, and weekly positivity rate is 5.33 percent presently.
India’s recovery rate is currently at 98.67 percent with active cases contain 0.15 percent of the total infections. 10,780 people recoveries were recorded, and the total recoveries across the country is 4,42,72,256.
So far, 220.66 crore doses of the Covid Vaccine have been administered in the country and a total of 3,647 doses were administered in the last 24 hours under the Nationwide Vaccination drive.

107 new Covid-19 cases found in Madhya Pradesh, 44 test positive in Bhopal

A total of 107 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the state on Friday and one death was also reported from Indore district. The death risen 10,781 due to the pandemic in the state.
As per the released data by Directorate of Health Services, of these 107 new cases, 44 we’re reported from Bhopal, 21 were reported from Rajgarh, 14 new cases were reported from each of Gwalior & Indore districts, 4 new cases were reported from each of Ujjain & Agar Malwa, 3 new cases were from Sehore, 1 new case from each of Harda, Raisen, and Singrauli districts.
Total number of active cases remained at 346 in the state. Only 1,405 samples reports were received on Friday.

Defence Minister also tests Covid positive

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday and is currently under home quarantine with mild symptoms. A team of doctors examined him and he was advised to take rest.
