Coronavirus: World’s Smallest Woman Appeals Citizens To Stay At Home

No wonder if you know Jyoti Age, who is the world’s smallest woman. She is 62.8 cm tall and is very popular across the globe for her height.

Recently, the world’s shortest living woman took to the local streets of India to appeal to citizens to stay indoors after police requested for help supporting a coronavirus lockdown.

So, Jyoti encouraged and pleaded people to stay at home, wash their hands, and wear a surgical mask as well as gloves.

“Our police officers, healthcare workers, military officers are on the frontline battling the virus and saving lives, and I wanted to contribute in my way, however small,” Jyoti said.

“I asked people to maintain social distancing and stay home to cut the virus transmission chain.” She further added.

For your information, Jyoti has a form of dwarfism, which is called achondroplasia, and she is the world’s shortest woman as per the Guinness World Records.

Jyoti has worked in television- both in the United States and India.

India is under lockdown since 21 March, with citizens permitted to leave their houses only for emergency services like buying medicines and groceries.
