The government claimed to provide all the essential services to the people during the lockdown. According to the Excise Department of Kolkata, the Mamata led West Bengal govt will provide liquor considering it as an essential thing.

These liquor shops will have to get their passes from nearby police stations after which they can deliver the liquor at homes.

The Excuse Directorate of West Bengal gave the news that the git has not put any restriction on providing liquor during the lockdown.

However, only 3 passes will be issued to each shop.

Customers will have to order liquor over a phone call from 11 am to 2 pm.
