Coronavirus Highlights: See How Ajmer’s Dargah Area Emerges As New Covid-19 Hotspot

79 new positive cases found in Ajmer. The sudden increment in Corona’s positive cases has transformed Ajmer into a big hotspot in Rajasthan. According to reports, most of the reported cases of Covid-19 have been found from areas near Ajmer Sarif Dargah. The testing team has said that new positive cases can be tracked through a man who has come from Bihar. The area has been totally locked down and is being disinfected. Moreover, the overall case recorded in the city has increased to 100 with these fresh, positive cases.

The first case in the Ajmer was found on March 28 and the second was reported on April 20. The next day, there were 35 positive cases were reported and on April 20, 44 new more cases were reported. However, most of the patients are labourers and salesman in these reported cases.

Ajmer SP Kunwar Rastradeep said,

“The area falls under four police stations and has been under curfew. Barricading of lanes and bylanes has been done in areas where people have a history of lockdown violations. Only Government vehicles will be allowed to provide ration and vegetable to minimize the human to human contact.”
