CM Yogi: Ayodhya to Welcome 100 Chartered Planes on Jan 22, 5 New UP Airports

CM Yogi: In a significant development, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that approximately 100 chartered planes are expected to land at Ayodhya airport on January 22. This revelation comes in preparation for the much anticipated ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram temple.

CM Yogi: Aviation Infrastructure Expands

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia shared that Uttar Pradesh would witness the inauguration of five new airports in just one month. This move will elevate the total count of airports in the state to an impressive 19. The first tri-weekly flight connecting Ahmedabad and Ayodhya recently took off, showcasing the state’s commitment to enhancing its aviation infrastructure.

Ceremonial Inauguration Marks Milestone

CM Yogi: The ceremonial inauguration of the tri-weekly flight was a momentous occasion attended virtually by CM Adityanath and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. The event saw great enthusiasm, with CM Adityanath personally receiving the inaugural flight’s boarding pass.

Massive Influx for ‘Pran Pratishtha’

Highlighting the scale of the event, CM Yogi Adityanath mentioned that the influx of around 100 chartered planes is not only a testament to the significance of the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony but also an opportunity to test the capabilities of the newly built Ayodhya airport.

Uttar Pradesh’s Aviation Revolution

Scindia emphasized the remarkable growth of Uttar Pradesh’s aviation sector. He pointed out that the state, which had only six airports in 2014, now boasts 10 airports, including the newly inaugurated Ayodhya airport.

Furthermore, Uttar Pradesh is set to add five more airports, each in Azamgarh, Aligarh, Moradabad, Shravasti, and Chitrakoot, within the next month. Additionally, an international-level airport in Jewar is slated for completion by the year’s end.

Historic Ayodhya Airport Inauguration

The Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30, marked a historic milestone. On the same day, flights operated by IndiGo and Air India Express took off, symbolizing the commencement of Ayodhya’s journey into a new era of aviation.
