Today a meeting of the legislative party was called in Raipur in which talks were held with the MLAs. After this, the name of Vishnu Dev Sai was approved. The three observers appointed by the high command were also present in the meeting.

After the meeting of observers and MLAs, it has been decided to make Vishnu Dev Sai the Chief Minister. BJP has played a big tribal card in the state. Vishnu Dev has been the former state president of the state and has discharged many big responsibilities.

It was already being speculated that if the party does not elect Raman Singh, who was the Chief Minister thrice from 2003 to 2018, then it will make an OBC or tribal leader the Chief Minister.
