At CES 2023, TCL unveiled a range of new products, such as budget smartphones, a tablet, and a two-in-one detachable laptop. These include the TCL 40 SE, 40R 5G, and 408. The Chinese electronics manufacturer also showcased a selection of TVs, audio devices, and home appliances.

TCL 40 R 5G & 40 SE Features
At CES 2023, TCL launched the 40 R 5G and 40 SE. The 40 R 5G has a 6.6-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate and a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary lens. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The 40 SE, on the other hand, has a 6.75-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and a triple rear camera setup, also led by a 50-megapixel primary lens. It also has an 8-megapixel front camera housed in a waterdrop-style notch at the top centre of the screen and is powered by a 5,010mAh battery. Furthermore, it has up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage.

At the event, TCL unveiled not only 40 series phones, but also the NxtPaper 12 Pro tablet. This tablet boasts a 12.2-inch 2K screen with 8.5mm bezels and a 3:2 aspect ratio, as well as an 8,000mAh battery and USB Type-C port. According to TCL, it can provide up to 13 hours of use per day. It is slim and lightweight, measuring 6.9mm in thickness and weighing 599 grams, and has dual 8-megapixel cameras at the front. Additionally, it features 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
