Bajaj Chetak 3503 Launched: Bajaj Auto has introduced the cheapest model of the Chetak electric scooter range in the Indian market. This new electric scooter of the company is the Chetak 3503. It has been priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), which will compete with models like TVS iQube 3.4, Ola S1X+ and Ather’s Rizta S . Let’s know in detail about the features of this new e-scooter.
Bajaj Chetak 3503: What is the range?
The Chetak 3503 model has a 3.5 kWh battery, which the company claims is capable of giving a range of up to 151 km on a single charge . The Chetak 3503 takes 3 hours and 25 minutes to charge from 0-80%. Also, its top speed is limited to 63 kmph.
Features and shortcomings
The new Chetak 3503 has features like 35 liters of under-seat storage, hill hold assist, Bluetooth connectivity and two ride modes (Eco and Sports). However, to keep the price low, the company has removed some features like sequential turn indicators and front disc brake.
Will compete with these scooters
Bajaj Chetak 3503 will compete with models like TVS iQube 3.4 KWH (Rs 1.20 lakh), OLA S1X + (Rs 1.10 lakh) and Ather Rizta S (Rs 1.23 lakh) . Bajaj claims that the metal body and better build quality of Chetak makes it different from other models.
Bajaj Chetak 3503: When will it be available?
Bajaj said that this scooter will be available at dealerships across the country from next month. The company has assured 3 years or 50,000 km as battery warranty.
Design and colour options
This new e-scooter variant of Bajaj Chetak has a metal body architecture like the other variants. Chetak 3503 is available in four colours – Indigo Blue, Brooklyn Black, Cyber White and Matte Grey. Bookings for this electric scooter have started on the company’s official website, and deliveries are expected to begin from the first week of May.
