Asian Games 2023: Indian players are continuously showing their talent in the Asian Games 2023. On the third day, India has created history in the Asian Games. India’s equestrian team won the gold medal in the dressage event.

After 41 years, India won gold medal in horse riding. The pair of heart piercing divas Sudipti Hajela and Anush Aggarwal captured the gold.

  • India secured the gold by scoring 209.205 points, surpassing China with 204.882 points and Hong Kong with 204.852 points.

PM Modi wrote,

“It is a matter of great pride that after many decades our equestrian dressage team has won the gold medal in the Asian Games. Hriday Chhed, Anush Agarwal, Sudipti Hajela and Davykrit Singh as a team displayed unparalleled skills and brought honor to our country on the international platform. I congratulate the team for this historic victory.”

Apart from PM Modi, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah congratulated the equestrian team for the historic victory. He tweeted in Hindi, “Congratulations to the equestrian team, who created history and gave India its first medal in the equestrian dressage team event.” We are proud of all of you.
